Open a fresh note and write the exact title you want next. Example: Project Manager in Healthcare Technology or Human Resources Generalist
Build your job-search checklist
In the same note, list essentials: resume update, LinkedIn refresh, three target companies, daily search hour
Update resume headline and summary
Rewrite the top of your resume so it shows skill and impact at a glance. Example: Results focused project manager who leads teams of ten or more and delivers projects on time and within budget
Lock in your job-search hour
Block one dedicated hour each weekday for applications, networking, upskilling, or follow-up. Treat it like a calendar meeting you never cancel
Choose one skill to strengthen
Pick a skill that makes you more competitive, such as advanced Excel, Canva, public speaking, or interview prep, and find a free course or tutorial to begin
Apply for one job today
Submit an application that matches your target or plays to your strengths. Progress over perfection
Catch-up and weekly win review
Complete any unfinished actions, then scan your notes to see how far you have come
