I was reading the Financial Times this morning over coffee and something caught my attention. While some companies have slowed down for the holidays, a handful of companies, streaming platforms, and luxury brands are still actively posting mid to senior roles. We're talking $200K+ salaries.
This tells me something: these companies are betting big on 2026 and they want their teams built before the new year hits.
Most people think December is a dead zone for career moves. But if you apply now, you skip the January resume pile. By the time everyone else is starting their search, you're already having conversations.
I manually reviewed 13 companies below. That have solid strategic plans for the upcoming year.

On staying resilient through transitions:
If you're in a job transition right now, December can feel like you're stuck in limbo while everyone around you is wrapping up their year with a bow.
But transitions don't follow the calendar as much as we'd like them to. Your resilience isn't about how fast you land something. It's about staying intentional when it would be easier to coast or just give up becasue it's overwhelming.
Keep applying. Keep learning. Keep showing up. The people who land strong opportunities in January are the ones who didn't disappear in December. More importanly, keep showing up for yourself!
P.S. Just a quick reminder: I am not a recruiter. If there is a role you're interested in, apply directly with the company.
Also, sometimes companies will remove a link if they fill a role. If a role is no longer available, go directly to the careers page of the company to search for open roles.
I'll be back with neuroscience tips for communicating at work on this Thursday,
Jacqueline
